DID YOU KNOW: Arcturus is a red giant (star). It's the brightest star seen in the Northern Hemisphere of Earth's sky. You can find it in the constellation Boötes (the herdsman). Approximately 7.1 billion years old, it's much older than our own sun. Arcturus is also among the brightest stars that can be seen from Earth.
